Experience
I love to help students in learning about U.S. History and Government. I know a lot of students view history as a subject where they are expected to learn dates, people, and places that they may never reference again. As a tutor, it is my goal to help them understand that History and Government are more than that. I want my students to walk away with the knowledge and information about our history and the legal system. But they should also appreciate that the law is alive and ever-evolving, and historical figures faced similar struggles that the people of today face.I have worked as a teacher, focusing on American Politics and legal theory. I also work with students to help them get ready for GRE and LSAT exams. In addition, I have a lot of experience in legal writing, and many of my students have found this beneficial in preparing for their legal exams. I am available to tutor students in a variety of subjects related to Government, including Law, Political Science, U.S. History, Comparative Government and Politics, Constitutional Law, Social Studies, AP subjects (AP U.S. History and AP Government), and test subjects (specifically the GRE and the LSAT).I graduated from Boston University with my bachelor's, and The University of Pittsburgh School of Law for my JD degree. I am currently studying at John Hopkins University, where I am working on my Ph.D. in Political Science. When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my family, exercise (I love to run and row), do crossword puzzles, and read.
